We recommend a check-up and clean every six to twelve months for most people. It is the simplest way to catch decay, gum disease and worn or cracked teeth early, while treatment is still quick and straightforward.

Alongside the treatments below, we provide dental crowns to restore and protect a heavily broken-down tooth, and custom-made mouthguards to protect the teeth during sport or against night-time grinding.

Where a wisdom tooth needs to come out, the extraction can be carried out using laughing gas or intravenous sedation for patients who feel anxious, so the experience stays comfortable.

How often should I have a dental check-up?
For most adults and children, a check-up and clean every six to twelve months is about right, and your dentist will recommend an interval that suits your mouth. Regular visits let us spot decay, gum disease, cracked teeth and other issues while they are small and easy to treat. If you have gum disease, a high decay risk or a history of dental problems, we may suggest seeing you more often. If it has been a long time since your last visit, that is fine, just book in and we will take it from there.
Do you see children for general dentistry?
Yes. We see children alongside adults for check-ups, cleanings, fillings, fluoride treatment and preventive care, and we take time to help young patients feel comfortable in the chair. Early visits also let us watch how the jaws and bite are developing, which matters for our airway-focused orthodontic work. You are welcome to bring the whole family for back-to-back appointments. Does Align Dental do direct insurance billing?
Yes. We bill directly with more than 20 international and local insurers and accept CHAS and Medisave for eligible treatments, so in many cases you do not need to pay upfront and claim back later. Bring your insurer name, policy details and identification to your appointment and our team will check what is covered and handle the paperwork where direct billing applies. I think I have a toothache or a dental emergency. What should I do?
Call us on +65 6773 7088 as soon as you can and tell us what is happening, and we will do our best to see you quickly. In the meantime, over-the-counter pain relief can help, and a cold compress on the cheek can ease swelling. Avoid very hot, cold or hard foods on the affected side.
