Specialist dentistry
Specialist & complex dental care
More involved cases handled in-house, with the imaging and planning to do them well.
Some treatments need extra planning: a tooth that has been lost long enough for the bone to shrink, a root canal on a tooth with awkward anatomy, or a wisdom tooth that is impacted against the nerve. These are the cases where good imaging, careful planning and an unhurried approach matter most.
We handle a range of more complex work in-house, and we are equally happy to bring in or refer to a specialist colleague when that is the right call. Either way, we coordinate the plan with you so you are not left to join the dots yourself.
What specialist dentistry covers
Specialist dentistry deals with the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases and disorders of the oral cavity, which includes the teeth, gums and mouth.
We take into account your overall health, lifestyle and medical history when developing a treatment plan. Specialist dentistry is an important part of overall health care, and looking after these more complex problems well helps protect your general wellbeing.
Planned with digital imaging
We use digital imaging to assess each case and plan complex treatment carefully, whether you need preventive care, treatment for a specific problem, or a more involved procedure.
