How the take-home kit works
Philips Zoom is one of the most widely used professional whitening systems, and the take-home version lets you whiten in your own time. We take impressions and make custom trays that fit your teeth precisely, supply the professional gel, and show you how much to use and for how long. The gel concentration is lower than the in-clinic version so it is safe to use at home, which means it works more gradually, usually over up to about two weeks. It suits teeth that are not excessively stained.
A take-home kit also works alongside an in-clinic LED or laser whitening session, extending and maintaining the result for longer. Its main advantage over in-clinic treatment is the lower cost.
